GRESB's Asset Impact experts were joined online by ING for a 45-minute primer to discuss "The Role of Asset-Based Data in Climate Action".

Speakers Meixuan Liu, Senior Sustainability Consultant, Terra Data Lead, at ING, Vincent Jerosch-Herold, Chief Product Officer and Michel Amar, Chief Business Development Officer at Asset Impact, helped participants discover how their organizations can:

• Monitor portfolios and glean insights into the transition pathways of investee companies using consistent and comparable metrics
• Leverage asset-based data and insights regarding climate commitments, particularly in comparison to disclosure-based approaches
• Analyze a portfolio's current and future emissions across Scopes 1, 2, and 3, enabling the setting of precise decarbonization targets
• Engage with portfolio companies to aid investee companies in reducing emissions and enhancing sustainability practices
• Develop internal systems and adhere to regulations, facilitating the alignment of portfolios with climate objectives
